Jens Ziehe (b. 1966) has been working as a photographer in Berlin since 1989. From 1987 to 1989 he studied photography at the renowned Lette-Verein in Berlin.
Initially, Jens Ziehe took photographs for newspapers and magazines in particular and was considered to be a photographer of the newly emerging arts scene in Berlin in the 1990s. He now works for museums, galleries, private collections, artists’ studios and other institutions. Out of his extensive oeuvre Ziehe shows artist portraits from more than 20 years, bordering lifestyle and magazine, photojournalism and classic portraiture, including Franz Ackermann, Monica Bonvicini, Olafur Eliasson, Valérie Favre, Dan Graham, Mike Nelson, and Thomas Scheibitz.
The book was published on the occasion of the exhibition Jens Ziehe.
