Frédéric Moser (*1966 in Saint-Imier / Switzerland, lives in Brussels) and Philippe Schwinger (*1961 in Saint-Imier / Switzerland, lives in Brussels) have worked together since 1988 – first as directors for the independent theater l'atelier ici et maintenant in Lausanne / Switzerland and then, after their studies at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Geneva / Switzerland in the field of visual art. In their videos, installations, and performative sets, Moser and Schwinger develop stage-like situations that refer to historical events in which identification with individual roles, different opinions, and actions are up for discussion.
