Olga Chernysheva’s (*1962 in Moscow, lives in Moscow) practice spans film, photography, drawing, and object-based media. Her video works seismographically record the realities of life in post-Soviet and early capitalist Russia, often using seemingly unspectacular everyday situations to show the extent of change as well as peoples’ dreams and longings.
