Jens Pecho (*1978 in Frankfurt am Main / Germany, lives in Berlin) develops his works based on his strong interest in language, through which he brings subtexts of well-known and everyday situations or concepts to the surface. In his video works, installations, and interventions in public space, he draws on found material, which he condenses on a linguistic or textual level. He integrates fixed formulations and texts, statistical surveys, legal paragraphs, musical pieces, and quotes from films.
