Anatoly Shuravlev

FacesPanic

Anatoli Shuravlev (*1963 in Moscow, lives in Berlin) addresses in his work the blurring boundaries between artistic and mass media contexts. Shuravlev originally worked in the context of Russian conceptualism, and reflected semantic and semiotic issues in his paintings. Since 1991, Shuravlev has increasingly devoted himself to photography and video in order to investigate the conditions and contingencies of communication structures.
