The Neuer Berliner Kunstverein exhibition space and the n.b.k. Video-Forum are located on the ground floor. The Showroom and Artothek are located on the 1st floor.

U-Bahn: Station Oranienburger Tor (elevator available), line U6 (500 meters to n.b.k.)
S-Bahn: Station Oranienburger Strasse (elevator available), lines S1, S2, S25, S26 (800 meters to n.b.k.)

Access to the exhibition space (ground floor)

Main entrance (from the street)
- Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday 12–6 pm, Thursday 12–8 pm
- Pavement: small cobblestones in mosaic arrangement and stone slabs
- Stone step (20 cm high)
- Double door made of glass/metal, opens inward; each door 80 cm wide; together 160 cm wide
- Ramp available (92 cm long und 71.5 cm wide)

Entrance to the main hallway of the building (for access to Artothek and Showroom, see also additional information below)
- Usually only open by appointment / must ring bell
- Bell available (for access to 1st floor; occupied during office hours, not on weekends)
- Pavement: small cobblestones in mosaic arrangement and stone slabs
- Stone step (20 cm high)
- Two double doors made of glass/metal, one behind the other; both sets of doors open inward; each door 80 cm wide; together 160 cm wide
- From the corridor: to the right is the side entrance door; slight threshold/metal edge (2 cm high); door width 90 cm

Rear entrance (from the courtyard)
- Usually only open by appointment
- Access through archway into the backyard. Archway is blocked by barrier, threshold: 7 cm high
- Pavement: small cobblestones in mosaic arrangement and stone slabs. Courtyard: cobblestones in mosaic arrangement and stone slabs
- Rear entrance: in the courtyard to the right, at the back of the building
- Double door made of wood/glass, opens inward; door width: 60 cm (only one door can be opened), threshold 7 cm high


Entrance to Video-Forum (ground floor, from the street)
- Opening hours: Tuesday + Thursday 2–8 pm, Wednesday 2–6 pm
- Pavement: small cobblestones arranged in rows and stone slabs
- Stone step (20 cm high)
- Single door made of glass/metal, opens inward; door width 95 cm
- Wheelchair-compatible viewing station to watch videos from the collection


Entrance to Artothek and Showroom (1st floor inside the building)
- Opening hours: Tuesday + Thursday 2–8 pm; Wednesday + Friday 2–6 pm
- Access to staircase via entrance to the main hallway of the building (see above)
- Elevator is inside the building at the end of the hallway; elevator door width 80 cm; elevator depth 140 cm
- 1st floor: hallway door (open); door width 80 cm
- Doorbell: on the left, 110 cm above the floor
- Door to Artothek made of wood; opens outward; door width 90 cm
- Width of Showroom passageway: 79 cm; threshold 3 cm high

Accessible restroom/WC
- Location: Ground floor inside the exhibition space
- Door width: 90 cm
- Area in front of the toilet: 90 × 90 cm
- Area to the right of the toilet: 60 × 100 cm
- Area to the left of the toilet: 40 × 80 cm
- Grab handle to the right of the toilet (foldable)
- Toilet seat height: 50 cm
- Wheelchair does not fit under the sink

Parking (open 24 hours; not barrier-free)
Visitors may use the parking garage on the lower level of the building at Chausseestr. 128/129, access via Hannoversche Strasse

The stairways from the multi-level parking garage to the elevator – to the ground floor (exhibition space) and 1st floor (Artothek) – are not barrier-free, due to stairs and inclined floor areas with doors opening outwards.

Parking fees: Monday – Friday 6 am–6 pm: €2/h; Monday – Friday 6 pm–6 am; Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays all day: €1/h
