Inspired by Alexander Luria’s The Man with a Shattered World (Russian original 1971), Florenty designs an emblematic universe in which the main figure communicates his thoughts and fears. His spatial perception is impaired by a brain injury that causes hallucinations. His inner monolog, which is translated to gestures and series of letters, opens up a world of associative imagination. KINO KROV is part of Florenty’s work cycle on the link between human perception and language.
