The starting point of the exhibition P.O.V. (Point Of View) at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein was the documentary footage of Captain Freiherr Harald von Vietinghoff-Riesch, who as an amateur cameraman filmed in Europe during the Second World War between 1938 and 1942 behind the front line. Using the material as an example, von Wedemeyer examines pictorial spaces and boundaries of the subjective camera at war. The publication continues this examination: It includes an extensive photodocumentation of the exhibition and the seven new cinematographic works by Clemens von Wedemeyer, essays by Tobias Ebbrecht-Hartmann and Tom Holert as well as a conversation between Clemens von Wedemeyer, Klaus Theweleit and Marius Babias.

The publication can be purchased at local bookshops, via the website of Buchhandlung Walther König, and at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein. Members of Neuer Berliner Kunstverein can buy the book at n.b.k. for the special price of 15.00 Euro.
